چکیده
Proteus mirabilis is one of the important causative agents bacterial infections in humans. This study involved prevalence virulence genes among P. from urine, ear, sputum, burn, wound, and vagina specimens Zakho city during period July 2021 until January 2022 their susceptibility to different commonly used antimicrobial agents. Isolates were identified by traditional phenotypic biochemical tests. Out 400 cultures, 95 (23.75%) mirabilis. The antibiotic toward antibiotics varied isolates. results showed that ceftriaxone was most potent with a rate 90.28 %. isolates resistant many screened antibiotics, highest 88.42% imipenem. Whereas, proportion slightly lower other at rates 74.68 % 77.89% for Ampicillin Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, respectively. Fifty-two selected PCR analysis, according multiple resistance antibiotics. samples amplified identification producing single band ureR gene. (flaA, rsbA, zapA, mrpA) these 96.15%, 88.46%, 80.77%, 69.23%, demonstrates multidrug harbors genes.
